About the event
The Doula Outreach for Victim Empowerment (DOVE) program provides doulas, community health workers, and aspiring support people with basic skills to provide physical, emotional and educational support to domestic violence victims and survivors while they navigate resources and the various systems needed to heal and deal with the residual impacts of abusive relationships. This program is meant to supplement existing doula and community health worker training, and it’s open to any professional in every industry, who work with clients who have experienced domestic violence.
This course will be offered through a combination of live class/workshop time, additional outside resources and self-paced assignments.
